“Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell others.” – Mary Oliver

A blog about a garden; love letters to the world.

“A garden is a nursery for nurturing connection, the soil for cultivation of practical reverence. And its power goes far beyond the garden gate – once you develop a relationship with a little patch of earth, it becomes a seed itself.”

– Robin Wall Kimmerer, Braiding Sweetgrass

A bit about me:

I live close to the sea and the green hills of southern England with my two young children, cat, and husband. I’m a stay-at-home mum, holistic therapist, and writer. I enjoy one-pot cookery, travel, gardening, yoga and drinking red wine. When not partaking in one of the above, I am probably daydreaming about my next holiday. I’d love to hear from you. 2. Caroline, just started following you having read your elephant journal piece on a girl who travels (because it’s really me you’re writing about). Lovely to connect with a kindred spirit.

  3. I feel like we were separated at birth and you were the one gifted with prose…. THANK YOU…. Your words…about travel, tea and life touch me, and somehow eloquently express all that I feel…. you are appreciated, admired and followed and your words matter to me…. (especially you married and girl who traveled and now what…. I cried…it might have been the wine…but I choose to believe it was the words… I made my husband read it and I printed it out)
